AA Preamble:
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. This is a closed meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. If you think you have a problem with alcohol, you are welcome at this meeting. Who you see here, what you hear here, please let it stay here.

Thanks to the readers.  This online space is open on meeting days from 6:45 - 8:15. Please don't log in at other times, as we are guests of a business space used to meet with private clients. Please refrain from profanity, as people might have children in the background.

Is there anyone new to AA?  This is your very first meeting? Un-mute and share your first name.

Anyone coming back from a drink and want to share about that? Remember to un-mute.

Anyone celebrating an anniversary, days or years? Un-mute and share!

Introductions:  Let's go around the screen and have everyone introduce ourselves -- first name, city, home group (Chair call on people).

Please keep your sharing to a few minutes so more people can share.

Does anyone have an AA related topic?
[Chair--how you do this is up to you--call on people, let them step forward, or play tag, but don't let people sit in silence...call on people if they don't speak up.]

@7:50 -- We're getting close to the top of the hour. Does anyone have a burning desire? Keep in mind that a burning desire means you think you might drink.

[If not -- Who wants to share who hasn't had a chance yet?]

[If time -- Chair may share, and then ask the person who raised the topic if they would like to speak.]

@7:55 -- Thanks for sharing Everyone. AA has no dues or fees, but we do have expenses, including costs of setting up this meeting. The 7th Tradition specifies every AA group ought to be fully self-supporting. If you would like to contribute toward defraying these costs, please visit onlineaa.us (all lower case), and click on the 7th Tradition tab.

If you would like to share this meeting with others, just send them here:  onlineaa.us  (the meeting link is at the top of the page).

Are there any AA related Announcements?

This group strongly encourages sponsorship.  Would anyone willing to be a sponsor please raise your hand -- keep them up for a minute so someone paging through has a chance to find you.  Let's all stick around a few minutes after the meeting in case someone is trying to get in touch with anyone.

9th Step Promises
